#Safeguardourfuture Briefing Session: “DWP: Keeping Malaysia Secure, Sovereign and Prosperous” – REGISTER NOW

The Malaysian Defence White Paper, published in December 2019 was the first public document on defence matter. It outlines a ten-year plan for defence reform and future force modernisation in Malaysia, in order to better prepare us to face future challenges. Two years on, how far have we gone in implementing the DWP?

In order to prepare those who are interested to participate in the #Safeguardourfuture Malaysia Day Essays Collection, we are hosting this session to give you an opportunity to ask any questions you might have. We are very honoured to have a distinguished speaker for our first briefing session. As a long serving civil servant at the Defence Ministry, Mr Sahipulhijaiman has a wealth of knowledge and experience on defence matters to share.

This session is designed to cater to those between 16-30 years old who are planning to submit an essay to Projek Pertiwi. However, if you have not made up your mind or would like to just drop in, you are still welcomed to join us.

Date: 18 August 2021 (Wednesday)
Time: 3pm
Speaker: En Sahipulhijaiman bin Sulaiman (Deputy Undersecretary, Policy and Strategic Planning Division, Ministry of Defence Malaysia)
